The people behind Aurora

Different lives.

One shared question.

How can we remain ourselves and truly connect with others?

Aurora brings together different experiences of relationship, inner exploration, entrepreneurship, organisations, cultures and technology.

What connects us is a belief that meaningful change begins with people.

  • Awareness.
  • Responsibility.
  • Trust.
  • Genuine human connection.

We begin with the person. We grow through each other.

Marien Kwant

Building connection.

Marien is a father, entrepreneur and founder of AIM4.

For 23 years, he has worked with circles of independent professionals who stand on their own and choose to remain connected in a network organisation.

Thousands of conversations with independent management professionals and connecting people with interim assignments in more than 300 vertically organised companies have shaped his understanding of autonomy, trust, reciprocity and personal leadership.

AIM4 also became a lived experience of another way of organising in circles.

  • Independent people.
  • Relationships before bureaucracy.
  • Expertise close to the work.
  • A small connecting core.
  • Leadership that can move.

That experience became one of the foundations of Aurora.

Not a structure to copy. A human principle to take further.

Marjam Beke

Finding your own voice.

Marjam is a woman, mother and independent interim manager with Egyptian and Dutch roots.

She has lived and worked across different cultural and organisational worlds.

She knows how expectations can quietly become roles.

And how easy it can be to lose sight of which voice is your own.

She brings to Aurora the importance of recognising what has shaped you, trusting your judgement and remaining connected without losing yourself.

Karthik Elangovan

Technology in service of people.

Karthik is an entrepreneur and AI engineer from India.

His path has also included life as a monk, bringing experience of inner exploration alongside his technical knowledge.

At Aurora, he helps build technology that creates space for awareness.

  • AI can ask.
  • Listen.
  • Reflect.

But it cannot decide who you are or what you should choose.

Technology serves the conversation. The person gives it meaning.

How we work is part of what we believe.

We bring different histories.

  • Cultures.
  • Knowledge.
  • Strengths.

We do not need those differences to disappear.

We need to recognise when each of them matters.

Leadership moves according to what is needed.

Responsibility remains personal.

Trust grows through what we do together.

Aurora began the way we hope people can come together:

As themselves. As equals. Around something that matters.
